Fall Color in Fremont CA

Flaming Red Fruitless Pear Trees

Our entire street is full of red color
Our street is lined with fruitless pear trees that are green and shady in summer, snow white blossoms in spring time and flaming red in autumn ! They change color with the seasons here even though California's four seasons are not so distinct and are not as colorful as the East Coast or New England areas.  Thanks to our temperate climate which is called the Mediterranean climate, has hot dry summers and mild wet winters.....allow us to have longer season of flowering blooms and more variety of color and flowers that can last all year round like the Peruvian Lily, lavender, roses , cyclamens, cosmos, mums, azaleas.... and more...
Peruvian Lily still in full blooms - all year round here !
Year round fragrant Lavenders very hardy but full of bees !

Orange hybrid cosmos in full blooms

Ca Navel Oranges are turning from green to yellow
