Snow in Santa Cruz Mts, Scotts Valley, CA - What a sight!

The weather report has been predicting snow in the Bay Area for sometimes, but snow never came to our area even though we can see some snow capped mountains. Our friend who lives in Santa Cruz mountains in a town called Scotts Valley, sent me some pictures of his front and backyard. What a beautiful sight it is.  I know in part of our country was having terrible snowstorms while we were enjoying spring weather. So in sunny California, snow is rare and when we get snow, we celebrate it. Here are some of the photos in Santa Cruz area, where most people equate it with lovely beaches and big white capped waves for surfers. It also gets snow in the mountains sometimes!

In the San Francisco Bay Area, snow is rare. We get excited if we have snow every 10 years or so. We do have lots of sunshine and  beautiful flowers come spring. So tend to your garden, this is the best time to pull weeds when the soil is soft and moist - avoid using chemicals, use alternative means to save the environment,   read my blogs for updates !
